The WWE manager, who was best known as being the creepy funeral director and manager for wrestlers The Undertaker and Kane, died on March 5 at the age of 58. So sad.
William Moody, better known as his stage name Paul Bearer, died on March 5, according to an official statement by the WWE. The animated WWE star made a name for himself in 1991 as the spooky manager and “funeral director” for the wrestler The Undertaker.
“Moody made his WWE debut in 1991 as the manager of The Undertaker and went on to become a memorable part of WWE over the course of the next 20 years. Our deepest condolences go out to Moody’s family, friends and fans,” the official statement from the WWE read.
No details were immediately available surrounding his death, but the 58-year-old had suffered from health problems over the past 10 years. He was battling complications from morbid obesity, and had galbladder issues.
