Dubai Police add £300,000 Lamborghini to their fleet (because 0-60 in three seconds is just what they need for catching criminals)

It’s a city known for its excesses, but this still seems a far stretch even for somewhere of such wealth.
Dubai Police have added a white and green £294,665 Lamborghini Aventador to their patrol fleet with numberplate ‘8’ - which has already drawn comparisons to the Eighties TV series Knight Rider.
The city’s force confirmed last month that their patrol cars were getting a sporty makeover and they have since confirmed that sports cars will be introduced into the fleet to help patrolling on highways.

Top asset: Lamborghini launched the car being used by Dubai Police this year to celebrate its 50th anniversary
The Aventador will certainly be useful when catching criminals on the road, as it can do 0 to 60mph in a mind-blowing three seconds and has a top speed of a whopping 217mph.
Lamborghini launched the car this year to celebrate its 50th anniversary, and it has already sold out for this year and most of 2014, with several of the motors being shipped to Britain, reported the Sun.
