A number of blasts hit the town of Kano, which is frequently targeted by Boko Haram, on Monday.
According to Daily Post, Kano residents said they heard at least four explosions in the Sabon Gari neighbourhood, mainly taking place in Enugu street which has a lot of restaurants.

Chinyere Madu, a fruit vendor, said the explosions caused a lot of confusion.
"There were four huge explosions, so huge that they shook the whole area. Everywhere is enveloped in smoke and dust,” he told Daily Post.
Another resident Kola Oyebanji told Daily Post his house is not far from where the bombings took place and all his windows are shattered because of the blasts.
Though Kano is the largest city in the mainly Muslim north, Sabon Gari is a Christian neighbourhood.
No official comment has been made about the incident.
