It was gathered last week saturday that a police Commissioner in Kwara State was shot by a group of unidentified men who trailed him to his residence and opened fire at him as he was about to enter his Amoji Nike residence in Enugu East Local Government Area.
The assailants reportedly shot the car severally from the rear. While the Commissioner late CP Chinwike Asadu died in the shooting, his aides, Oliver Omeh and Olaniyi Aloha were critically injured and are both receiving treatment at the National Orthopaedic Hospital in Enugu. The late Commissioner had gone to his hometown on a visit for the weekend.
